Marketing Analytics Manager

Shaw Search Partners is proud to lead the retained search to identify a Marketing Analytics Manager on behalf of a renowned Retailer client.

The Marketing Analytics Manager serves as an advocate and Voice of the Customer for our current and future customers, by influencing customer centric strategy with meaningful fact based analysis. They will lead consumer research that helps Marketing and Merchandising seize our most valuable and important opportunities, by integrating multiple data sources including qualitative/quantitative results, secondary data sources, trend information and data analytics. The Manager will distill relevant information into insightful, strategic, and actionable insights. This position will work with key business units across the organization to develop and execute customer and competitive market research which will inform strategic marketing decisions in an effort to gain market share.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of research professionals to leverage various feedback programs across multiple parts of the business to drive engagement and participation with customers.

  • Scope, design and execute a variety of complex insights projects. Lead the collection, interpretation, exploration, and presentation of large amounts of survey data, integrating primary and secondary data sources. Provide actionable insights to drive continual improvement.

  • Work collaboratively with internal partners to ensure business issues are translated into specific research questions that support the organization’s strategy.

  • Prioritize and manage expectations and timelines to ensure projects address business goals and objectives. Conduct professional growth planning for self and direct reports. Create and conduct continuous training.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 6 years with 1-5 years of management experience.

  • Deep experience in designing and conducting a broad array of approaches such as tracking, positioning/messaging, segmentation, A&U, MaxDiff, conjoint, and pricing studies.

  • Experience working with complex analytics, e.g., segmentation, choice modeling, predictive modeling.

  • Proficiency in R, SPSS, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Ability to synthesize and clearly communicate complex findings to focus on the critical implications and actionable opportunities.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously to drive solutions that meet or surpass business expectations and deliver project milestones on time.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree required.

  • Master's or Advanced degree in Marketing, Market Research, Consumer Insights, Psychology, Business, Statistics.
