POSITION SUMMARY

Entrepreneurs’ Organization is seeking an experienced professional to scale up a team of over 20 professionals across B2B and B2C growth pillars including structured growth strategies to help EO achieve sustainable growth; new business and lead marketing initiatives to establish key markets and segments penetration; team management and recruitment strategies to drive pipeline and conversion of membership, engagement strategies through members’ life-cycle and achieve over 90 percent retention.

TheP, Global Business Development & Engagement. will drive results by solving problems strategically, effectively influence and thinking creatively about growth while developing others. As VP, Growth, the incumbent will set critical and ambitious growth objectives in collaboration with relevant stakeholders, while planning and executing upon. In addition, this roles requires a proven record in growth strategies and go-to-market operations powered by technology. Above all, it requires skill at achieving results through collaboration, team-work and influence.

This VP, Global Business Development & Engagement will collaborate extensively with board members, committee leaders and members, executive team and other business units for organizational success. The VP will engage in strategy development at the global, regional and local level – including empowering EO’s volunteer membership chairs in our 206 chapters worldwide to drive growth. This role will report into a member of the Executive team.

WHAT WILL I DO?

· Collaborates closely with EO’s communities to develop strategies for growing EO via membership and chapters across all ten regions of EO.

· Engages frequently with brand management team to build awareness and pipeline for membership growth via a centralized lead generation framework and system that can be implemented globally with regional and local nuances/customizations.

· Shapes a structured and sustainable referral program to solidify organizational strength in word-of-mouth marketing by leveraging the 15,000 member network.

· Creates targeted growth strategies for recruitment of women and Under 35 entrepreneurs.

· Pursues professional sales pilots in key regions and assess viability of a wide-scale program.

· Spearheads strategies for growth operations:

· Drives the strategic and continuous improvement of new member processing to eliminate friction therein providing a seamless prospect to member journey;

· Provides best practices and tools for test drives/recruitment events and alternatives to suit regional/local needs, and identifies repeatable and scalable processes to provide centralized services.

· Closely monitors and enhances implementation of touch points and journeys of new members and implements strategies to encourage on-going participation of new members throughout the EO community in their first two years to cement stickiness.

· Continues to define high-touch points for membership engagement across the organization and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure deep engagement with members to enhance stickiness, and to develop member advocates.

· Devises and articulates strategy for strategic new market penetration, and growth in key markets with a multi-stakeholder approach including external partnerships; varied chapter business model like satellite forums, platinum chapters etc. to suit local market dynamics.

· Maintains competitive intelligence on verticals and similar business models to watch for disruptors, and to disrupt.

·Innovates growth i.e. review EO’s membership structure and analyze tiered membership offering.

WHAT DO I NEED?

· BA in business administration, marketing or any relevant field.

· 15+ years of progressive experience in managing growth teams of similar scope and responsibilities, proven record in sales/business development, strategic planning, and performance delivery, including creating, implementing and measuring growth objectives.

· Ample experience working in digital platforms, online marketing tools and web-based technologies.

· Hands on experience with SEO/SEM and CRM software.

· Familiarity with social media channels and their analytics.

· Adaptable, versatile and focuses on up-to-date market trends and advancements in technology.

· Collaborative and consultative approach to working with many stakeholder groups.
